Legal Consultant — Energy Projects

Apply in confidence →Interim legal consultants are sought for project-focused secondments and in-house assignments across the United Arab Emirates. Roles are typically full-time, six months or longer, and are based with major energy, utilities and industrial organisations in Abu Dhabi or Dubai (flexible arrangements may be available).
Candidates will advise on cross-border energy and infrastructure matters across the project lifecycle — including upstream and downstream oil & gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy developments, EPC and construction contracts, power purchase agreements and project finance documentation. Assignments involve close collaboration with commercial teams and joint-venture or international project partners.
- Qualified lawyer with 4–10 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Practical experience on energy projects — e.g. upstream oil & gas, downstream/petrochemicals, renewables or utilities.
- Track record in project documentation and/or project finance, and familiarity with EPCs, PPAs, offtake and supply arrangements.
- Working knowledge of UAE / Middle East regulatory and commercial frameworks; in‑house or secondment experience advantageous.
