4-6 years' experience as a financial services compliance lawyer, from private practice or in-house roles within large organizations
Demonstrated experience providing legal and compliance support within a regulated financial services, banking, or corporate environment
Strong understanding of compliance obligations frameworks, regulatory change programmes, and risk management practices
Experience drafting, reviewing, and maintaining obligations registers, compliance frameworks, policies, standards, and associated governance documentation
Experience working closely with risk, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders to support implementation of regulatory and compliance initiatives
Ability to provide practical advice on legal, compliance, and governance matters within a complex organizational environment
Experience supporting projects and transformation initiatives with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and competing priorities
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across a broad range of legal, compliance, and transformation activities
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex regulatory requirements
Pragmatic and solutions-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering practical outcomes
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across risk, compliance, legal, and business teams
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage change and ambiguity effectively
