Short-term interim role for an experienced funds and investment lawyer to support fund formation and cross-border investment work in the UAE. Typical assignments are client-side engagements in Abu Dhabi or Dubai lasting around six months, with an expectation of on-site presence for the duration.

The role involves advising fund sponsors, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors and family offices on structuring, establishment and operation of investment funds (private equity, debt, venture capital, real estate and Shari'a-compliant vehicles), bespoke co-investment arrangements and related cross-jurisdictional transactions.

Additional responsibilities include negotiating fund documentation and side letters, providing regulatory and compliance advice across relevant jurisdictions, and delivering practical commercial guidance to clients and their investment teams.

Qualified lawyer with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in funds, asset management or investment structures.
Proven fund formation experience (private equity, real estate, debt, VC and/or Shari'a-compliant structures).
Strong cross-border transactional experience and comfort advising institutional investors and sponsors.
Practical knowledge of fund regulatory and marketing/compliance regimes across multiple jurisdictions.
Available for on-site client assignments in Abu Dhabi (candidates based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai preferred).
