Interim legal consultant role supporting funds and investment work across the United Arab Emirates. Typical assignments are client-facing, on-site in Abu Dhabi or Dubai and are commonly six months in duration; candidates should be available to work on-site for the length of the engagement.

The role involves advising fund sponsors, asset managers, sovereign/institutional investors and family offices on structuring, establishment and operation of investment funds (private equity, debt, venture capital, real estate and Shari'a-compliant vehicles). You will also support cross-border investment structures, related transactional work and fund regulatory/compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with a strong funds or investment management background
Proven experience in fund formation and fund documentation (private equity, real estate, VC, debt and Shari'a-compliant structures)
Experience advising institutional investors, sponsors or asset managers and negotiating investor-side documentation and side letters
Comfortable advising on cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional investment structures
Available for on-site client assignments in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai) and able to commit to typical 6-month engagements
