Short-term in-house secondment and consultancy opportunities for experienced transactional energy lawyers based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Assignments are typically 3–9 months (often full-time) and sit with major energy, utilities and industrial organisations across the UAE.

Roles cover upstream and downstream oil & gas, petrochemicals, project development and project finance matters, including EPCs, PPAs, joint operating agreements, offtake and feedstock arrangements, and associated commercial documentation. Successful consultants will work closely with commercial teams and international partners on cross-border deals across the Gulf region.

The programme operates as a dedicated legal consulting platform within a leading international law firm, providing institutional support, access to training and knowledge resources, and tailored assignment matching and career guidance for consultant lawyers.

  • Qualified lawyer with 4–10 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong transactional background in energy projects, upstream/downstream oil & gas, petrochemicals or project finance.
  • Experience advising on EPCs, PPAs, JOAs, farm‑in/farm‑out or commercial supply/offtake agreements preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Middle East legal and regulatory context and experience on cross-border matters.
