Legal consultant — Project Development & Project Finance

Apply in confidence →An interim consultant panel role for qualified lawyers with project development or project finance experience in the energy sector. Assignments are typically six months, full time, and are frequently based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai) with occasional remote support for projects in Saudi Arabia; flexible arrangements may be available.
Successful candidates will join a global consultant network and work on financings, EPC/O&M and procurement-related matters for power, water, oil & gas and renewable-energy projects. The role offers access to training, professional support and knowledge resources while requiring a self-directed, client-focused approach to delivery.
- 5–7 years post-qualification experience in project finance or project development (energy sector).
- Experience advising on project financings, EPC, O&M and procurement contracts; exposure to power, water, oil & gas or renewables.
- Background in a top-tier law firm or relevant in-house/financial institution/sovereign advisory roles.
- Preferably recent experience in the Middle East; Arabic language skills advantageous.
- Practising certificate (or equivalent) entitling you to practise in the region and readiness for six-month, full-time assignments.
- Consultant mindset: highly professional, flexible, adaptable and able to manage your own development and client relationships.
