Legal Director, Commercial Dispute Resolution — Birmingham

Senior commercial disputes role to join a national Commercial Dispute Resolution team based in Birmingham. The role is full-time, permanent and offered on a hybrid basis, with regular cross-office collaboration and occasional travel to London for hearings, client meetings and conferences.

You will work closely with senior colleagues on a varied caseload across litigation, arbitration and mediation, take a leading role in business development and contribute to best-practice and precedent development. The position offers strong progression prospects and a clear pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

• Qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience in commercial dispute resolution.
• Proven track record handling litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution at a senior level.
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and managing a varied caseload.
• Strong business development skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships; commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
