Apply in confidence →Contract, fee‑earner role (approx. 12–18 months) for a lawyer to support large construction disputes through high‑volume document review and analysis. The role is primarily remote with regular team meetings held virtually or at the Montréal office.
Typical work includes reviewing and extracting key legal points from documents and technical/engineering materials, drafting memoranda, assisting with examinations on discovery and hearing preparation, and contributing to case strategy under the direction of litigation counsel.
Work requires autonomy, strong teamwork in a distributed team, and comfort using document‑review platforms where applicable.
- Degree in civil law from a recognized university
- Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec
- 1–5 years of relevant litigation experience
- Bilingual (French and English) with strong legal reading, analysis and summarization skills
- Attention to detail, sound legal judgment and diligence
- Experience with Relativity, Nextpoint or similar review platforms is an asset
