Leveraged Finance Associate — New York

Mid-level associate role in a busy, internationally focused Leveraged Finance practice. You will work on a broad range of debt finance transactions across the capital stack for private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, corporate borrowers and lenders.

The team handles sophisticated acquisition financings, ABLs, term loans, senior and mezzanine facilities, recapitalizations and refinancings. This role offers substantial responsibility on lean deal teams and the chance to advance technical skills in credit documentation and deal execution within a global practice.

• 4–5 years' post-qualification experience in leveraged/debt finance.
• Substantive experience representing private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers and/or lenders on acquisition financings, ABLs, term loans, mezzanine and recapitalization/refinancing transactions.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate commitment papers and credit documentation and to run signings/closings as a key member of deal teams; deal sheet required.
• Exposure to middle-market private equity and alternative credit/private lender transactions preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in culturally diverse, global teams; self-starter with strong commercial judgment and communication skills.
• Admitted and in good standing with the New York Bar.
