Litigation Associate — Insurance Defense, Seattle

Growing litigation team seeks an experienced associate to handle insurance-defense matters from intake through trial. The role involves managing a broad caseload including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, transportation claims, and related employment and property disputes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include taking depositions, attending hearings and mediations, drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, conducting legal research and document review, developing case strategies, and preparing files for trial while communicating effectively with insurer clients and insureds.

• Admitted to practice in Washington State.
• 1–10 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with insurance-defense work.
• Proven legal research, drafting and oral advocacy skills; deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple time-sensitive matters.
