Apply in confidence →Established national labor & employment practice seeks a California-admitted litigation attorney for a remote role based in Los Angeles (must be barred in CA). The position focuses on defending employers in employment-related litigation, administrative charges, mediations and arbitrations, including wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, non-compete and related matters.
Associates will handle courtroom and agency matters, provide client counseling and workplace training, and contribute to defense strategies on individual and collective/class matters. Class action/PAGA experience is preferred but not required. The role is remote within states where the firm maintains an office and includes a standard annual hours expectation.
The firm offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility; a California salary range of $120,000–$216,000 (depending on experience) is provided for this posting.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and strong academic credentials
- Admission to the California bar and compliance with applicable state ethical requirements
- Associate-level: typically 4+ years of California employment litigation experience; Of Counsel-level: typically 9+ years with first-chair capability
- Experience defending employment litigation, agency charges, mediations and arbitrations; class/collective action and PAGA experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, strong organization, time- and project-management skills
