Litigation Associate — Product Liability, Philadelphia

Seeking a litigation associate to join a national AmLaw 100 firm’s Philadelphia litigation team. The role focuses on complex product liability and tort defense matters, with particular emphasis on pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer-health disputes.

The team handles full-lifecycle litigation work — discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation — in Pennsylvania state courts. The office values collaboration, professional development, and a supportive path for advancement.

• Approximately 2 years of complex litigation experience; product liability/torts experience strongly preferred.
• Experience defending pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or consumer-facing health products is a plus.
• Substantial Pennsylvania state court experience required.
• Demonstrated experience across all phases of litigation: discovery, depositions, motion drafting, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal writing, research, analytical skills, and strong academic credentials.
• Ability to take responsibility for client matters, work collaboratively in a large team, and show initiative.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania bar or eligibility for bar admission/reciprocity required.
