Litigation Associate — Richmond, VA

Seeking a litigation associate to join a busy Richmond litigation team on a partnership track. The role involves handling a broad range of civil litigation matters, working closely with senior lawyers and contributing to client service and case strategy.

The firm values candidates with solid academic credentials, a demonstrated commitment to pro bono work, and strong courtroom and written-advocacy skills. There is preference for candidates with a federal or state judicial clerkship; clerkship credit and bonuses may be considered where applicable.

• Approximately 5 years of litigation experience (class of 2020)
• Strong academic record and excellent writing and advocacy skills
• Judicial clerkship preferred; clerkship credit/bonus may be available
• Virginia bar membership preferred and required within one year of hire
• Willingness to handle pro bono matters and focus on client service
