Litigation Associate — San Francisco

Mid-level to senior litigation associate role in a busy San Francisco litigation group. The position is for an attorney with 3–6 years’ litigation experience who will work on a range of complex, fast-moving matters across federal and state courts.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and substantive motions, preparing for and taking depositions, managing discovery and e-discovery workflows, coordinating case teams and budgets, working with experts, appearing in court, and maintaining an active pro bono practice.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and 3–6 years of litigation experience.
• Membership in the California bar required.
• Proven experience with all aspects of discovery and e-discovery workflows.
• Experience drafting pleadings and arguing substantive motions in federal and state courts.
• Case management experience, including supervising teams and contributing to budgets and staffing plans.
• Strong writing, oral advocacy, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to pro bono representation.
