Apply in confidence →Growing litigation team seeks a junior-to-mid-level associate (2–4 years) to support financial‑services clients on litigation, government investigations, and enforcement matters. The role is based in the firm’s Austin office with work across U.S. matters.
Responsibilities include managing discovery and responses to subpoenas and civil investigative demands, assisting with negotiation strategy and advocacy before enforcement authorities, preparing pleadings, motions and legal memoranda, participating in witness interviews and depositions, and researching federal and state consumer financial services law and regulation.
The team emphasizes mentorship, collaborative client work, and opportunities for professional development within a market-facing regulatory and fintech practice.
- Juris Doctor and membership in the state bar of the hiring office required
- 2–4 years litigation and/or enforcement experience (government investigations experience preferred)
- Experience with discovery management, subpoenas/CIDs, and drafting motions/briefs
- Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple matters
- Experience or interest in consumer financial services/payments matters preferred
