Apply in confidence →Established national law firm seeks a Litigation Special Counsel to join its Florida litigation team supporting the Construction practice group on single-family housing matters. This is a full-time, non-partner track role based in Jacksonville with options to work in Miami, Orlando, or Tampa. The practice handles a high volume of matters, many proceeding in arbitration rather than circuit court, so successful candidates must be self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
The role requires strong legal research and writing, experience conducting discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and some deposition and trial exposure. Experience with mediation, arbitration, insurance-coverage litigation, and construction/design-defect claims is strongly preferred. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and provides a salary range for the position.

- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active, good-standing member of the Florida Bar
- 3–7 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on construction, insurance, or related disputes
- Demonstrated legal research and writing skills; experience drafting and arguing motions
- Some deposition and trial experience; familiarity with arbitration and mediation
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently; prior experience supervising paralegals/support staff preferred
