Top-tier Energy & Infrastructure practice is seeking an associate with M&A experience to join its national team. The group advises on sophisticated acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and corporate transactions across renewable and traditional energy, power, oil & gas, energy transition, infrastructure and data centers.

The role is based in the U.S. with flexibility to live in any city where the firm has an office; strong preference for candidates located in Houston, Austin, San Francisco, New York, or Washington, D.C. The team emphasizes collaborative deal work, formal mentoring, and structured training—associates contribute on transactions, help develop pitches, and participate in practice-focused training initiatives.

  • At least 1 year of M&A transaction experience.
  • Membership in the state bar of the U.S. office where the candidate will be based.
  • Excellent academic record, strong drafting and communication skills, and commercial judgment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and interested in energy/infrastructure sector work; willingness to travel as needed for deal execution.
