M&A Associate — Shanghai

Leading international law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate/M&A Associate to join its Shanghai office. The role focuses on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions across corporate, private equity and strategic buyer matters.

The successful candidate will work on live deals as part of a collaborative, high-performing team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. There are strong opportunities for exposure to complex transactions and interaction with senior lawyers across offices in the region.

• 6–7 years post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm with substantive M&A transaction experience (inbound and outbound experience preferred)
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated legal drafting and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively in team settings
