Apply in confidence →Senior role within a busy contentious construction and engineering disputes team based in London. You will lead on high-value, complex disputes and project advisory work for developers, contractors, funders and public-sector clients across major infrastructure and real estate projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include running litigation, adjudications and arbitrations, leading multi-party mediations, providing strategic contract and risk advice, and managing key client relationships. You will also take a hands-on role in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.
The team handles a broad mix of matters from national infrastructure and PFI/PPP projects to energy-from-waste and large real estate developments, offering early responsibility and strong career progression in a collaborative environment.
- Minimum 5 years PQE in contentious construction and engineering disputes.
- Proven experience of TCC/high court litigation, adjudication and arbitration (including drafting pleadings, witness and expert statements).
- Strong stakeholder and client-management skills; experience leading settlement strategy and ADR processes (including multi-party mediations).
- Excellent drafting, procedural and project-management abilities; comfortable supervising and coaching junior team members.
