Apply in confidence →Senior role within a national tax & employee incentives team advising on the design, implementation and operation of executive and all-employee incentive arrangements. The team works across corporate transactions and advisory matters, supporting both public and private company clients and corporate deal teams.
The role involves drafting and implementing tax-advantaged and non-tax-advantaged share schemes (for example growth shares, JSOP, EMI, CSOP and LTIPs), providing corporate and tax advice on scheme implementation, regulatory input and preparing employee communications. You will work on a mix of transactional M&A support and ongoing advisory matters.
This position is open to candidates based in London, Leeds or Manchester. The team collaborates across UK offices; a minimum in-office attendance of three days per week is required.
- Qualified solicitor with minimum 5 years PQE.
- Experience advising on employee incentive/share schemes for both public and private companies.
- Strong knowledge of tax and corporate aspects of scheme implementation (EMI, CSOP, LTIP, JSOP, growth shares).
- Proven transactional experience supporting M&A and other corporate deals, plus advisory work.
- Ability to manage own workload, work closely with partners/senior lawyers, and contribute to trainee/junior development.
- Comfortable with hybrid working and a minimum of three days per week in office.
