Apply in confidence →Senior employment lawyer role supporting a mixed contentious and non-contentious employment practice, based in Leeds or Manchester. The team advises large UK and international employers across sectors including financial services, retail, energy and transport.
The role offers exposure to complex tribunal litigation, whistleblowing and business-protection matters as well as large-scale HR projects such as restructurings and outsourcing. You will build close client relationships, contribute to business development, and coach more junior lawyers in a collegiate, hybrid-working environment (minimum office attendance expectation applies).
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification employment law experience (contentious and non-contentious).
- Proven client-service skills and ability to manage complex matters and pupil/associate development.
- Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional travel between offices.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in using tools (including AI) to enhance service delivery.
