Apply in confidence →Recruiting a Managing Associate to join a busy Infrastructure Real Estate team in London advising on large-scale, nationally significant energy and transport projects. The role sits at the intersection of property law, statutory consenting and infrastructure delivery.
You will handle land rights and compulsory purchase processes, support consenting and third‑party interface agreements, and manage portfolio transactions from acquisition to handover. The post involves supervising junior staff and delivering to tight project timelines in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent) with solid real estate experience.
- Proven experience on major infrastructure projects, including compulsory purchase/transport works and consenting regimes (e.g. DCOs, TWA/CPO experience).
- Knowledge of land law, landlord & tenant, land registration, property tax and environmental/contaminated land issues.
- Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing project teams to deadlines.
- Strong client‑facing, drafting, analytical and project management skills; able to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with construction and environmental matters affecting property transactions.
