Managing Associate — Leveraged Finance, London

Join a busy leveraged finance team in London as a Managing Associate, advising lenders, sponsors and corporates on leveraged and acquisition financings. The role offers regular exposure to mid‑market UK/European transactions, opportunities for secondments, and a supportive training environment.

You will work closely with the leveraged finance and private equity practices, leading parts of transactions from negotiation through documentation and closing. The team handles bespoke, complex financings and offers clear progression, structured training and flexible working.

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' post‑qualification experience in leveraged finance (private equity‑backed deals)
• Experience on UK and/or European mid‑market financings; familiarity with facility agreements, term sheets, commitment papers and intercreditor arrangements
• Strong drafting, commercial judgement and ability to manage parts of transactions independently
• Team player with client‑service focus and demonstrable business development initiative
