Managing Associate — Leveraged Finance, London

Highly regarded UK practice is recruiting a Managing Associate to join its busy leveraged finance team in London. The role will work on mid‑market leveraged and acquisition financings for lenders and sponsors, covering structures such as super‑senior, first‑out, second‑lien, unitranche and TLB facilities.

You will join a collaborative team that delivers high‑quality work for banks, direct lenders, private credit funds and private equity sponsors. The role offers significant responsibility on transactions, regular client contact and opportunities to develop technically and commercially.

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in leveraged finance.
• Proven experience on UK and/or European mid‑market financings, including private equity‑backed deals.
• Strong knowledge of facility agreements, term sheets, commitment papers and intercreditor arrangements.
• Ability to manage transactions, supervise junior lawyers and work effectively in a team.
• Commercial mindset with demonstrable business development and client‑service orientation.
