Top-tier litigation team in London seeks a Managing Associate to join a busy reputation protection and media practice. The role focuses on advising high-profile private and corporate clients on defamation, privacy, harassment, data-protection and injunctive relief, often in urgent or crisis contexts.

Work includes pre-publication advice, emergency injunctions, online content takedowns, regulator complaints and media crisis management, often collaborating with colleagues across disputes, investigations, family and cyber teams. The team acts for claimants and defendants and combines contentious work with strategic reputation advice.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical judgment, excellent drafting and advocacy, resilience under pressure and a commercial approach to generating repeat and new instructions.

Minimum 6 years PQE in litigation (media/reputation experience preferred but candidates from other litigation backgrounds with a demonstrable interest will be considered)
Strong academics and training with a recognised law firm
Proven advocacy and drafting skills, including experience of urgent injunctions and crisis response
High emotional intelligence, client-handling skills and the ability to build trust with high-net-worth and corporate clients
Experience supervising junior fee-earners and maintaining strong matter financials/file management
Commercial awareness, business development interest and ability to work flexibly (including occasional out-of-hours support)
