Mid-level Associate — Corporate M&A, Atlanta (or nearby office)

Mid-level corporate associate needed for a US-based firm’s transactional team. The role focuses on M&A and private equity work, supporting and leading deal execution from diligence through closing and drafting transaction documentation.

Client matters include buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and related corporate governance and federal securities issues. The team offers collaboration across multiple U.S. offices and exposure to sophisticated transactional work.

• 3+ years' transactional M&A experience at a law firm (mid-size or larger)
• Experience drafting M&A transaction documents and managing due diligence
• Familiarity with corporate governance and federal securities law principles
• Strong academics, drafting skills, and ability to manage complex transactions to closing
