Top-tier Charlotte law office is seeking a mid-level associate to join a busy Debt Finance team. The role focuses on leveraged and mezzanine financings, restructuring and refinancing transactions, and both public and private debt offerings.

The successful candidate will work on a range of debt products including senior and second-lien credit facilities, mezzanine and bridge financings, high-yield and investment-grade offerings, and exchange/tender offer processes. The team advises credit parties across industries on complex financings and restructuring solutions.

Prior transactional experience in leveraged finance, mezzanine finance and/or restructuring
Familiarity with senior credit facilities, second-lien, mezzanine, bridge and high-yield or investment-grade offerings
Strong drafting and deal-management skills; ability to work on complex financing documents and closing processes
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission required
