Mid-Level Associate — Intellectual Property & Technology, New York

Small-to-mid level associate role within a nationally recognized Intellectual Property & Technology practice based in New York. The team handles complex trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and brand-enforcement matters for domestic and international clients across industries such as technology, entertainment, luxury goods, apparel, consumer products, and life sciences.

Day-to-day work combines litigation and counseling: managing federal-court and TTAB matters, pursuing anti-counterfeiting and grey-market enforcement, conducting clearance and prosecution work, and coordinating international portfolio strategies. The group regularly secures early injunctive relief, handles focused discovery, and pursues favorable outcomes through motion practice and negotiated resolutions.

This role offers hands-on collaboration with experienced litigators and IP counselors on multi-jurisdictional brand-protection programs and USPTO/TTAB-focused disputes.

• 3–5 years of relevant trademark and copyright experience at a law firm or similar environment
• Demonstrated litigation and counseling experience in trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, false advertising, and related IP matters
• Familiarity with TTAB proceedings, USPTO practice, and US Copyright Office procedures preferred
• Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills; strong academic record
• Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility for admission/waiver
