Mid-Level Associate — Mass Tort & Product Liability (Charleston, also Pittsburgh or Newark)

Mid-level associate opportunity in a national mass tort and product liability practice with representation across state and federal courts. You will join a multi-office team handling complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation including MDLs, class actions, and large-scale product-defect matters.

The role emphasizes substantive defense work, with responsibility for managing fact and expert discovery, taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and developing causation defenses in collaboration with expert witnesses. The position offers substantial client exposure and active mentorship from experienced litigators.

• JD from an accredited law school and admission in the applicable jurisdiction
• 3–5 years of litigation experience, with substantive experience in mass tort/product liability defense (asbestos defense experience strongly preferred)
• Proven ability managing fact and expert discovery, including depositions
• Experience drafting and arguing substantive motions; working with expert witnesses on causation defenses
• Comfortable working both independently and on collaborative, multi-office teams
