Mid-Level Associate, Private Equity Debt Finance — Los Angeles

Leading US law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join a busy debt finance group in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on representation of private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth financings.

Day-to-day work will include drafting and negotiating commitment letters, credit agreements and collateral/security documents, and managing transactions from documentation through closing alongside senior deal teams. The team emphasises collaborative, cross-practice work and client-facing responsibility.

• Mid-level experience in debt finance representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders on leveraged loan and acquisition financings.
• Proven ability drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral/security documentation.
• Outstanding academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant state bar admission or ability to obtain admission promptly.
