Mid-Level Associate, Private Equity Debt Finance — San Jose

Top-tier Silicon Valley law office seeks a mid-level associate to join a busy Debt Finance team focused on private equity-backed financings. The role involves representing PE sponsors, banks and private-credit lenders on term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth transactions.

The position requires substantive drafting and negotiation of commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral/security documentation, and collaborative work across deal teams and practice areas.

• Mid-level associate with relevant leveraged finance or debt finance experience (private equity sponsor, bank or private credit-side work)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commitment letters, credit agreements and collateral documents
• Excellent academic record and prior law-firm experience in comparable practice
