Top-tier international law firm seeks a mid-level Leveraged Finance associate to join a fast-growing, globally integrated Leveraged Finance team in New York. The role involves working on a full range of debt finance transactions across the capital stack for private equity sponsors, borrowers, lenders and alternative credit providers.

Work will be sophisticated and transaction-focused with relatively lean deal teams; there are strong opportunities for substantive responsibility on signings, closings and drafting/negotiating credit documentation. The team operates in a global, culturally diverse environment and offers bonus eligibility and standard benefits.

US base compensation for New York-based hires is advertised in the $310,000–$365,000 range; exact pay is determined by location and candidate experience.

4–5 years' leveraged finance or debt finance experience (mid-market and sponsor work helpful)
Proven experience on acquisition financings, ABLs, term loans, mezzanine and recap/refinancings; experience running signings/closings and taking "the pen" on credit documentation
Deal sheet and resume required; cover letter and transcript requested
Ability to work effectively in global, cross-cultural deal teams; self-starter with strong drafting and negotiation skills
Admission to and good standing with the New York Bar
