Mid-Level M&A Associate — Chicago

Seeking a mid-level M&A associate to join a national transactions practice based in the Chicago office. The role focuses on U.S. and cross-border middle-market M&A, with significant exposure to private equity-backed transactions. This is a hands-on position for a "deal runner" who can manage matters with limited supervision and work directly with partners, senior associates, and clients.

The team emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and client-facing responsibility. You will handle complex corporate M&A matters, contribute to drafting and negotiation, and participate in client communications across the deal lifecycle.

• 4–6 years of corporate/M&A experience (mid-level associate)
• Experience on middle-market and private equity M&A transactions; cross-border experience preferred
• Strong drafting, communication, and deal-management skills
• JD from an ABA-accredited school and active bar membership in good standing; timely admission in the hiring state required
