Growing energy team in Houston seeks a mid-level transactional associate to work on power and renewable energy matters. The role focuses on M&A, joint ventures and development transactions across the project lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture and development agreements, and other transaction documents.

The position requires working with multidisciplinary teams across offices and engaging with senior lawyers and clients on complex matters. The team values strong drafting, organization, project management skills, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

  • J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and active, good‑standing membership in the Texas Bar (timely admission to Texas may be required).
  • Approximately 4–6 years of transactional experience in power and renewable energy (M&A, joint ventures, development transactions).
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase & sale agreements, joint venture/development agreements, and related transactional documents.
  • Strong project management, due diligence coordination, drafting skills, and ability to work on multidisciplinary teams and interact with senior attorneys and clients.
