Mid-level Restructuring Associate — New York

Growing restructuring team in a major New York office seeks a mid-level associate to work on sophisticated in-court and out-of-court restructurings for lenders, creditors and corporate debtors. The role involves substantial exposure to Chapter 11 reorganizations, workouts and complex creditor-side matters across multiple industries.

Typical assignments include negotiating and drafting loan and workout documentation, exercising remedies, and preparing core restructuring pleadings and transactional documents such as plans of reorganization, restructuring support agreements and first‑day motions. The team values strong writing, organization and courtroom/document drafting skills.

• Minimum 4 years of restructuring/bankruptcy experience, including Chapter 11 and out‑of‑court restructurings
• Experience representing lenders and/or debtors on workouts, reorganizations and creditor-side matters
• Proven experience drafting plans of reorganization, restructuring support agreements, first‑day motions and related filings
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, writing and verbal skills
• Admission to the New York Bar required
