Midlevel Associate — Telecommunications, Media & Technology (Washington, DC)

Seeking a midlevel associate to join a busy telecommunications, media & technology (TMT) practice in Washington, DC. The role offers hands-on regulatory, policy, and advocacy work across TMT matters within a collaborative, development-focused team.

The successful candidate will work on matters involving communications and media regulation, FCC and agency-related proceedings, and related technology policy issues. The group values initiative, strong writing and oral advocacy, and an interest in the intersection of law, technology, and public policy.

The firm is seeking candidates who can start or grow a practice in TMT; for Washington-based roles the posted salary range is $225,000 to $435,000 (final compensation depends on experience and other factors).

• 4–5 years of law firm or substantial industry/regulatory experience (including agency experience such as the FCC)
• Demonstrated interest in TMT, communications/media regulation, policy, or advocacy
• Strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
• Member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to become a member of the D.C. Bar
• Technical background or engineering degree is a plus but not required
