Midlevel Corporate Finance Associate — Charlotte

Experienced corporate finance associate role in a national, full-service law firm’s Charlotte office. The team handles complex private credit, private equity and commercial lending matters for institutional borrowers and lenders across syndicated and asset-backed financings.

You'll work with senior deal lawyers on transactions including acquisition financings, mezzanine structures and loan workouts/restructurings, with mentoring and opportunities for increasing responsibility and client contact. The group seeks collaborative self-starters committed to high-quality client service.

• 3–5 years of law firm experience in corporate/finance transactions
• Experience with private equity/private credit, commercial lending and mezzanine finance
• Transactional experience representing lenders and borrowers on syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans and acquisition financings; loan workout/restructuring experience preferred
• Strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams
