The role focuses on defending data-privacy and security matters and handling regulatory enforcement work arising from consumer protection and agency investigations.
Work collaboratively with cross‑office teams on high‑profile litigation and enforcement matters, lead discrete projects, engage directly with clients, and produce clear, persuasive written work. Multiple U.S. office locations are possible, with New York among the primary options.
- 4–6 years post‑qualification litigation or regulatory experience with a focus on privacy, data security, or consumer protection enforcement
- Experience defending data‑privacy class actions and/or handling investigations by state attorneys general, the FTC, or similar agencies
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills and demonstrable ability to manage significant matters and interact with clients
- Comfort with technology issues and e‑discovery; strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
