The role focuses on environmental regulatory, permitting, and transactional work supporting project development, finance and M&A matters across a diverse client base.
Responsibilities include advising on federal and state environmental statutes (e.g., CERCLA, NEPA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, RCRA), supporting permitting and project development, assisting on transactional diligence and contracting, and working with agencies on enforcement or agency proceedings. The team environment is collaborative with formal training and mentoring.
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Bar admission in a U.S. state and ability to comply with local jurisdictional requirements.
- 3–5 years of environmental law or permitting experience, with exposure to project finance and/or M&A transactions preferred.
- Experience advising on federal and state environmental statutes and agency processes.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and client‑service skills; collaborative and proactive approach.
