Midlevel associate role in a national labor & employment team based in Seattle, focused on employment litigation and counseling for a broad employer client base. The group handles single-plaintiff and class/collective matters, wage & hour litigation, and employment-related counseling and compliance.

The position will have significant courtroom and deposition exposure, responsibility for drafting dispositive and class-related briefing, and opportunities to lead matters and supervise junior colleagues. The team values collaborative practice-building and client-focused solutions.

  • 4–7 years of employment law experience (employment litigation emphasis)
  • Strong academic record and excellent legal writing skills
  • Courtroom/deposition experience; history of handling single-plaintiff and class actions, including wage & hour matters
  • Experience drafting dispositive motions, oppositions to class certification, discovery, and long-form settlement agreements
  • Client counseling experience on policies, handbooks, leaves/accommodations, and separations; experience with labor diligence on M&A transactions preferred
  • Federal clerkship and/or experience at a major law firm preferred; ability to supervise junior attorneys and manage client relationships
