Mid‑Senior Associate — Energy Regulatory (Washington, DC)

Leading international law firm seeks a mid‑to‑senior associate to join a nationally recognized Energy Regulatory team in the Washington, DC area. The practice handles regulatory, transactional and project work across the energy sector and regularly engages on matters before federal regulatory bodies.

The role focuses on representing energy industry clients — particularly natural gas pipeline companies — in complex regulatory proceedings, rate cases, licensing and related transactional work. The team handles cutting‑edge matters at the intersection of law, policy and business.

• Juris Doctor (ABA‑accredited) and active bar membership in the United States
• Approximately 5–7 years of post‑qualification experience in energy regulatory work
• Significant experience representing natural gas pipeline companies before federal regulators; experience with Section 4 rate cases preferred
• Strong writing, advocacy and teamwork skills; comfortable working on high‑stakes, technical matters
