Mid–Senior Associate, Private Funds (Investment Management) — New York / Chicago / Washington, D.C.

Established investment management team seeks mid- to senior-level associates (approx. class years 2019–2022) with private equity funds experience to join offices in New York, Chicago or Washington, D.C. The role focuses on fund formation and related transactional work within a large, multi-jurisdictional practice.

The group offers a structured mentor program for lateral joiners, formal professional development, and participation in a robust pro bono practice. The position operates on a hybrid model (primarily in-office Monday–Thursday with defined remote periods) and may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

• 4–7 years’ experience in private equity fund formation or related private funds work
• Demonstrated excellence in law school and prior law firm or relevant in-house experience
• Strong drafting and transactional skills; ability to work across fund documents and related commercial agreements
