Experienced property lawyer sought to join a Managed Legal Services (MLS) team in Manchester, supporting large asset management portfolios across multiple client accounts. The role is hands‑on and client‑facing, focused on delivering efficient, high‑quality legal resource within a progressive service model.

You will lead drafting and negotiation of a wide range of asset‑management documents (leases, licences, variations, surrenders, consents and related agreements), provide practical commercial advice to in‑house and operational teams, and help maintain legal and regulatory compliance across managed portfolios.

The team uses legal technology and process‑led approaches to drive standardisation, automation and portfolio reporting; flexible and hybrid working arrangements are supported.

Qualified lawyer with 4–10 years' PQE in English law (asset management experience preferred)
Proven experience advising on complex asset management portfolios or large client accounts
Strong drafting and negotiation skills across leases, licences and related documents
Commercial, solution‑focused approach with excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Comfortable using legal technology and portfolio management tools
