New Business Conflicts Clearance Attorney — Compliance & Regulatory, Los Angeles (West Coast hours)

Experienced conflicts attorney role in a large law-firm General Counsel's office, focused on new business intake and conflicts clearance. The position supports efficient evaluation of potential clients and matters, conducts detailed conflicts analyses, and drafts waivers and ethical walls as needed.

The role includes advising and training fee-earners on ethical obligations and firm intake procedures, participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours conflicts inquiries, and working collaboratively across teams to manage sensitive information and compliance processes. West Coast hours and fully remote arrangements (for West Coast time zone) are acceptable.

• Juris Doctor and active Bar admission.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in conflicts management, ethical compliance, or related work in a large law firm or comparable environment.
• Strong knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct, and experience drafting conflicts waivers and implementing ethical walls.
• Excellent analytical, research, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle sensitive matters, work independently, and serve on an on-call rotation.
