You will manage the firm’s new business intake conflicts process, perform detailed conflicts research, draft conflict waivers and ethical walls, and advise attorneys and staff on professional responsibility issues.
The role requires collaborating with multiple practice groups, providing training on conflicts and intake procedures, and participating in an on-call rotation for urgent conflicts inquiries. This is a hands-on position for a candidate with strong ethics judgment, excellent research and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Juris Doctor and active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in conflicts management, legal ethics, or related compliance work in a large law firm or comparable environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct and ethical decision-making
- Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; high attention to detail
- Comfort with business intake systems and legal research databases; proficiency with standard office software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle sensitive/confidential matters, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
