NQ Contentious Tax Solicitor — London

Join a market-leading contentious tax team in London as a Newly Qualified Solicitor. The role offers early, hands-on responsibility on complex tax disputes and investigations for corporates, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals and professional advisers.

You will work across the full lifecycle of tax disputes — HMRC investigations, settlement negotiations, litigation at tribunal and court level, and tax professional-negligence matters — developing technical tax litigation skills and client-facing experience. The team supports formal tax qualifications (for example ATT) as part of career development.

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ level)
• Training seat or equivalent experience in tax disputes or a combination of tax and dispute resolution seats
• Strong academic record with excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Interest in contentious tax, attention to detail and ability to manage work both independently and in teams
