Of Counsel — Labor & Employment, San Francisco

Mid-senior level employment attorney opportunity in a busy San Francisco office to join an established labor & employment practice. The role focuses on counseling and defending employers on a range of workplace matters and will involve research, drafting legal memoranda, motions and pleadings, participating in court conferences, managing discovery and investigations, and preparing position statements and dispositive motions.

The team-oriented environment values strong analytical and writing skills, hands-on litigation and counseling experience, and candidates who can contribute proactively to client service and internal collaboration. California licensure in good standing and an ongoing commitment to bar requirements are required.

• Juris Doctor and active membership in the California bar (must remain in good standing)
• 8+ years of employment litigation/defense experience preferred
• Proven experience drafting pleadings, motions, and client counseling memoranda
• Superior written and oral communication, strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding academic credentials and demonstrated extracurricular law school involvement (e.g., law review, moot court) preferred
