Nationally focused employment & labor team seeks an OSHA-focused associate to join its Minneapolis office. The role centers on counseling employers on federal and state workplace safety and health (OSHA) compliance, managing related litigation, and supporting broader labor & employment matters as needed.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on OSHA and EH&S compliance, drafting policies and training, managing outside counsel and vendors, handling OSHA-related litigation and administrative proceedings, providing crisis response, and representing clients in negotiations and mediations.

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Minimum ~3 years post-qualification experience in employment litigation; specific OSHA experience required
  • Admission to practice in the state where the associate will be based (Minnesota for Minneapolis role)
  • Experience with OSHA investigations, administrative proceedings, and employer defense; class action or public-sector experience is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication, project management, and collaborative skills; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters
