Experienced residential conveyancer wanted to join a national residential development team as part of a dedicated part exchange and plot sales unit based in Birmingham. The role involves running a personal caseload from instruction to post-completion registration and tax filings, working to fast turnaround times typical for housebuilder transactions.

You will handle drafting and issuing conveyancing paperwork, managing pre-contract enquiries, reviewing title and searches, negotiating and exchanging contracts, and completing SDLT and Land Registry formalities. Previous part-exchange experience is helpful but not essential; training on plot-sale processes will be provided.

The team is a large, specialist residential development group advising major national housebuilders and large-scale sector participants. The role offers structured support, formal learning and development, and a competitive benefits package including bonus potential and flexible working options.

  • Minimum c.5 years' residential conveyancing experience (able to run transactions independently)
  • Experience of both freehold and leasehold residential transactions
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and ability to prioritise a fast-moving caseload
  • Good commercial awareness, client-facing skills and IT competency
  • Team-player with a proactive approach and ability to work under pressure
