Seeking a partner to lead and grow a compliance and regulatory practice within the firm’s Munich office, with significant work flowing from banking and finance and tax-related regulatory matters. The role combines client advisory, regulatory defence and transactional regulatory support across German and cross-border matters.

Ideal for an accomplished partner who can advise banks, financial institutions and corporates on regulatory obligations, compliance programmes and complex enforcement or supervisory interactions. The team works closely with tax and finance colleagues on integrated solutions for regulated clients.

The firm is open to candidates with an established, portable practice and a demonstrable track record of originating and developing client relationships.

Qualified to practise in Germany (admitted to local bar).
Partner-level experience in compliance/regulatory work with substantial banking & finance exposure.
Proven record advising on regulatory frameworks and interacting with supervisory authorities.
Business development capability — experience growing client relationships and a portable practice is preferred.
